You might be wondering, “Why the ‘Property Doctor’?”. The reason behind the name is that there’s not much around a property I can’t fix, no matter how sick or broken it is! When I was made redundant from my project engineer role of twenty years, I had a lifetime of practical DIY experience behind me, and was actually building a two-storey extension to my home in West London at the time.

It was August, the sun was shining, and with no urgent need to look for another job straight away, I decided to carry on to finish building my extension first. During this time I had several neighbours curious as to why I was suddenly around all day, and one by one, some of them asked if I could do some work for them, including the conversion of a garage into a study room.

That was my lightbulb moment, and since then I’ve made a living doing exactly what I love and have never looked back. My son, who grew up learning my passion for DIY, joined the business when he left school, and we have the skills and experience to tackle pretty much everything in the property arena, woodwork & carpentry, plumbing, tiling, kitchen & bathroom fitting, painting & decorating, to name but a few. The business is so popular that we don’t even have to advertise – all our business comes through the word of mouth of extremely satisfied customers.
